Rayshawn joins the Beef after coaching the Massachusetts Pirates (IFL) last season where he guided them to a 11-5 record.
He started his professional career in 2007 when he signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. After his released his journey between the CFL Arena League, and AFL2 started.
His coaching career started in 2019 when his was named Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator and Special Teams Coach of the Bismarck Bucks. In 2021 he was named Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator of the Pirates and took over as Head Coach in 2022.
Kizer is a graduate of Walsh University where he recorded 14 interceptions for the Cavaliers, returning five of those for touchdowns.
A northeast Ohio native, Kizer is originally from Euclid, OH.
