Sanders named Offensive Player of the Week

Quarterback Giovanni Sanders was named Week 8 National Arena League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 52-18 win over the Dallas Bulls.

Sanders threw six touchdowns while completing 10 of his 15 passes for 201 yards. He helped the Beef rack up 235 yards of total offense.

The Beef will host Louisiana Rouxgaroux on May 9th at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.

The NAL also announced that the Dallas Bulls have been suspended and to provide an opponent for the Louisiana Rouxgaroux, Omaha will travel to Bossier City on May 30th instead of having a bye week. The Beef will now take a bye week this weekend instead of traveling to Amarillo Texas.
