Beef claim two player of the week awards

The Omaha Beef who defeated the Sioux City Bandits last Saturday 41-37 claimed two players of the week awards. Vincent Espinoza was named week 11 offensive player while Chris Perry was named defensive player of the week.

Espinoza finished the game 19 of 30 for 152 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. He hit Dequan Dudley with 37 seconds remaining in the contest for the go ahead score and to improve the Beef to 3 and 5 on the season.

Perry set up the winning score with an interception with just under the one-minute left in the game.  Perry also made four tackles on the night.

This Saturday Omaha host the Colorado Spartans at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
