Dance Director Carmen Butler looks to continue team successes

February 3, 2013

(Omaha, NE) – Carmen Butler, former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, is in her second season as the Director for the Omaha Beef Prime Dancers. The Prime Dancers were selected as the 2012 Dance team of the year and Carmen is looking forward to continuing to develop their image on and off the field. After a two day audition process, 12 young ladies were selected for the 2013 Prime Dancers. “We have an amazing group of talented and professional young women. I am very excited to work with each member and we are looking forward to an exciting season,” states Carmen. The audition process included a hip hop routine, a jazz routine, technique, and an individual interview with the judges.

“Auditions are an opportunity for each candidate to show their individuality and allow their personality to shine. I applaud every candidate for having the courage to complete the process”.

‘This season we were looking for women who will be able to balance their role as a Prime Dancer with their professional careers.”

“It is important to select women who fully understand their role as an ambassador of the organization, to entertain our fans, and represent the Omaha Beef throughout the community.”

Throughout the season dancers will practice twice a week, perform at all home games, and participate in various community events.
