Beef Home Opener THIS Friday!

This Friday, the Beef look to extract revenge from the defending CIF champion Sioux City Bandits in The Slaughterhouse of Ralston Arena at 7:05.

After a last week’s thrilling 43-41 victory, clinched via a 38-yard field goal by Jimmy Kazalski (@oscomplex) as time expired, the Beef are in second place of the CIF’s Northern Division with a 2-1 record.

The Beef’s only loss this season was a 43-38 nail-biter three weeks ago in Sioux City and came down to the game’s final play.

Through three games in 2016, quarterback Joshua Floyd Jr. (@floydjrqb11) is second in the CIF in passing yards (430) and passing touchdowns (11). He has also completed the most passes in the league.

Receiver Kayne Farquharson is third in receptions, fourth in yards, and second in receiving touchdowns. His counterpart, Jeremiah Oats (@j_Oates19), leads the league with five touchdown receptions.

The Beef boast the third best overall defense in the league and rank first in run defense.

Defensive back Stephen McCord has two interceptions this season and returned both of them for touchdowns.

Beef defender Devon Bridges leads the league in sacks (3.0), while teammate Kewan Alfred (2.5) ranks second.
